Trauma • Anxiety • Relationships
Heal the root, transform your life, and step into who you truly are.
You've always been the strong one. You keep it all together. But inside, you're exhausted.
Together, we'll slow down, listen to your body, and untangle what's keeping you stuck so you can feel at home in yourself again.

Does this sound familiar?
You're not broken. Your relationship isn't beyond repair. And you don't have to keep white-knuckling your way through life.
What you're feeling is real, and there's a way through it.
Ways we can work together
Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Find the support that makes sense for what you're facing.

Hi, I'm Leanne.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist based in Kitchener, Ontario, with over 12 years of experience helping high-functioning adults and couples who look like they have it all together but feel like they're barely holding on.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and relationship work: not the kind that just teaches you to cope better, but the kind that helps you heal the root of what's keeping you stuck.
My practice is built on the belief that we all possess an innate capacity for healing. My role isn't to "fix" you, but to provide the safe, attuned presence you need to reconnect with that inner wisdom and find your way back to yourself.
I blend relational psychotherapy, somatic work, mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and gently challenging.
If you've been told you're "doing really well" by therapists who didn't see your pain, or if you're tired of performing your way through life, this is the work that changes things.

How I show up in the therapy room
I am a Registered Psychotherapist who works from a relational, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused lens. What that means in practice is that we pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, body, and relationships, not just your symptoms.
Relational & Attachment Focused
We look at how early experiences and important relationships shape how you relate now. Our relationship in the room becomes a safe place to gently try new ways of being.
Somatic & Mindfulness Based
Anxiety and distress live in the body, not just the mind. We use simple, accessible practices to help you notice cues from your nervous system and find more regulation and grounding.
Trauma Informed & Anti-Oppressive
I hold awareness of how trauma, systems, identities, and experiences of marginalization can affect your sense of safety and belonging. Your lived experience is always respected and centered.
Collaborative & Honest
I am not a blank slate. I bring warmth, transparency, and curiosity. We will regularly check in about how therapy feels for you and adjust together.
"My hope is that therapy feels like a space where all parts of you are welcome, including the ones you have learned to hide."
Questions you might have
It is completely normal to have questions before reaching out. Here are a few common ones to help you feel more comfortable.
Absolutely. Many of the people I work with are high achievers who look fine on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You do not need to be in crisis to deserve support; you simply need to be ready to feel as steady internally as you appear externally.
Yes, services are typically covered by major providers including Manulife, Sun Life, Canada Life, Green Shield, Blue Cross, and Desjardins. As individual plans vary, please verify your specific coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist with your benefits provider prior to your first session.
Yes. Virtual therapy sessions are available to clients residing anywhere in Ontario. All sessions are conducted using a secure, PHIPA-compliant video conferencing platform (Zoom) to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a Clinical Supervisor to other therapists. To read more about my clinical background and approach, please visit my About Page.
